It is interesting to note that the husband, Joseph Mills, was buried in Springfield Township, Williams County, Ohio but three years later when the wife, Rebecca, died, she was buried in Massillon, Stark County, Ohio. I'm not sure why but her son, William, had established residency there. I also suspect that the elderly Rebeca was living with and being cared for by her son so that when she died, he chose to have her buried in a local cemetery rather than with her husband. I have no other data to prove it but perhaps Rebecca and Joseph Mills were divorced. In fact the 1910 Census shows Rebecca living with her son, William and Joseph is nowhere to be found. Perhaps there were merely just bad feelings towards the father, Joseph.. --------------------------------------------
Neither one can be found in the 1900 census. -------------------------------------------
