Following her divorce from Melvin Kistler, Lulu moved back in with her stepfather, Eli A. McClelland who had married her mother, Jemima G. Croier. Lulu appears with Eli in the 1920 census. Jemima had died in 1914, about 1 year after Lulu was married to Melvin Kistler.

In 1924, Lulu was remarried to Clem Mack Meyers in Hancock County, Ohio.
