Mary Myrtle Ribison ^{1 2 3 4 5}

   Another name for Mary was Mary Myrtle Robison.

  General Notes:

The death certificate for her husband, Leander Lightfoot, shows her full maiden name as Mary Myrtle Ribison but I'm a little uncertain about the spelling of her surname because I can find no Ribison families in Missouri around the time of her birth there. I suspect that her maiden name may actually be Robison which is a family name that does appear in the census of that time period. Other possible spellings could be Robinson or even Rubison.

  Marriage Notes:

There are some interesting similarities between the two brothers, Leander and King Lightfoot. Both of their wife's names were Mary M. According to the 1940 census, Leander and King lived only about 3 houses apart. Leander's first daughter was named Opal while King's first daughter was name Ruby. Both daughters were born about the same time, either late 1910 or early 1911. Both Leander and King had blue eyes. Both had only two children, 2 daughters each.
