Gerald "Jerry" Wayne Arnsbarger, age 75, of San Rafael, passed away on October 24th, 2004 at Smith Ranch Care Center.

Jerry was born on November 2nd, 1928 in Grand Rapids, Michigan to Coy and Emma (Haas) Arnsbarger. He was united in marriage to Marilyn Arnsbarger and to this union three children were born. Jerry was the owner and operator of Jerry's Super Market for over 29 years in the Marina District of San Francisco. He was an active handball player for the Olympic Club and the South End Rowing Club for over 30 years. He played and won numerous domino tournaments.

He has left to mourn his loss, his beloved wife, Marilyn, of the home; his children and their spouses, Wayne and Laura Arnsbarger, Christine and Paul Eisenberg, and Pam and Rod Jones; eight grandchildren, Jennifer, Scott, David, Eric, Matthew, Paul, Jeanine and Steven; and nine great grandchildren. He is also survived by his two brothers, Bill and Bob Arnsbarger, and one sister, Noema Ayers.
Jerry will be missed by all of his family and dear friends.

Memorial Services will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, October 28th, 2004 at Keaton's Mortuary, 1022 E Street, San Rafael. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to a charity of your choice.
