"Ohio, County Marriages, 1789-2013," database with images, FamilySearch (https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:2QW7-6G3 : 8 December 2017), Irene Upper in entry for Erwin Arnsberger and Gladys Sundeen, 26 Oct 1937; citing Marriage, Cuyahoga, Ohio, United States, , Franklin County Genealogical & Historical Society, Columbus; FHL microfilm.
---------------------------------------

I'm not sure what to make of this seemingly short-turn marriage. There was another marriage license issued just one year later in Oct 1938 for Erwin and Ida Higginbotham. On that application, Erwin indicated that he had been married only once before and was divorced in 1937. That is the same information he gave on his license application for this 2nd wife, Gladys Sundeen. Either the marriage to Gladys was somehow annulled or never happened or Erwin lied about his previous marriages on the application with Ida Higginbotham.
