  Marriage Notes:

They moved around somewhat both before their marriage and during the marriage. Both were born in Missouri but ended up in Kansas and then ultimately Oklahoma. Theodore came with his parents from Missouri to Labette County, Kansas sometime between 1900 and 1910. His World War I Draft Registration showed that he was working as a RR Station Agent in Montrose, Henry County, Missouri in 1917 but later met and married Minnie Mitchell in Jewell County, Kansas in December 1917.

The 1920 census showed both of them living in Labette County, Kansas. In 1927 their first son was born in Missouri. By the 1930 census, they had moved to Ponca City, Kay County, Oklahoma. In 1932, their second son was also born in Missouri.

Unverified records indicated that Minnie died in 1946 at Wichita, Kansas but was buried in Ponca City, OK. Twenty-seven years later, Theodore died and was buried next to her in Ponca City, OK. It is not yet known if Minnie was merely visiting somebody in Wichita, KS at the time of her death or if the couple had moved there. But if they had moved there, why were they buried back in Ponca City, OK?
