On July 23, 1957, he married Mary F. Yaney, who died Sept, 21, 2004.
Survivors are a daughter, Lorna K. (Joe) Kuether, Yorkshire; four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose, American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Fraternal Order of Eagles, all in Celina. He graduated in 1943 from Celina Senior High School and served in the U.S. Marine Corps. during World War II.
Graveside services are 1:30 p.m. Sunday at North Grove Cemetery, Celina, the Rev. Linda Dulin officiating.
Calling is 2-4 PM and 6-8 p.m. Friday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, where the American Legion will hold services at 7 p.m.
