Caroline Ross ^{1 2 3}

Caroline married Edgar Kirk Methven, son of Daniel Robinson Methven and Ellen Flack, on 24 December 1893 in , Sacramento County, CA.¹ (Edgar Kirk Methven was born on 25 May 1862 in Plain Township, Wayne County, OH ^{1 2 3 4} and died on 29 October 1908 in Guatemala City, Guatemala ^{2 3}.)

It is not yet clear about the deaths and locations of either Edgar Methven and his wife, Caroline Ross. Apparently the family was living in northern California when Caroline died there in 1903. She is probably buried somewhere in Contra Costa County but the exact location is not yet known.

Following her death, it appears that Edgar took his three sons and moved to Hawaii. Somehow and for some reason, he died in Guatemala in 1908. The 1910 census in Hawaii shows the 2 oldest of the 3 sons living with an adopted set of parents. The location of the youngest son, Warren, during the 1910 census is not yet known however he later moved back to California where he died in 1922. The 2 oldest sons also moved back to the mainland by the 1920s.
