bullet  General Notes:

There was a Herman/Harmon Fast that was born in Virginia about 1852 and who moved to Jefferson County, Missouri and married Catherine Cook. Most researchers believe that he was the son of John Fast and therefore was not the same person as the Harmon Pierce Fast. There seems to be no information about Harmon Pierce Fast so it may be likely that he died at a very young age.
