Mary Magdalena was sponsored by Magdalina Dorner at baptism at Reformed Church, Middletown, Frederick County, Maryland. Mary also was indentured at age 16, on 29 Jul 1822, to learn housekeeping. Lic. to "Mary Magdale Danner".

NOTE - If the date of indenture was 1822, then she was only 8 seven years old at the time. Obviously, either the date of the indenture is wrong or her birth date is wrong. (Brian L. Lightfoot)
