Diane C. Hubel was born in Burbank, Calif., Jan. 14, 1947. Diane was a 1965 graduate of Las Vegas High School and moved to Henderson shortly thereafter, where she was a long time resident. In the early years of Henderson's Christmas Parade and Industrial Days, she was very active. Diane also owned a beauty shop and later a successful nail shop for many years. She was always proud of her trademark finger nails, which caught the eyes and questions of many. Diane passed away July 31, 2010, at St. Rose Dominican Hospital. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alberta Hall and is survived by two sons, Ron and wife, Laura of Boulder City, and Mike and wife, Coleen of Las Vegas. She is also survived by four beautiful grandchildren, Alexandria, Jacob, Keenan and Riley, who will dearly miss her; as well as two sisters, Lisa Swinehart and Tina Parry. Services will be private.
