On the 1910 census while living with her parents in Cedar County, Iowa, her birth location was given as Colorado. On the next 1920 census, still living with her parents in Cedar County, Iowa, her birth location was given as Iowa. On the 1930 census living with her husband, George Linn in Linn County, Iowa, she gave her birth location as Colorado. Her father was from the Cedar County area and was married there and appears to have lived his entire life there. There are birth records for at least one brother to Gladys that shows he was born in Cedar County, Iowa but no birth records for Gladys have yet been found. As local farmers from the Cedar County area, I can find no reason for them to have moved to or to have visited Colorado but perhaps they made one trip there with the mother giving birth to Gladys there.
