⁵ Roy W. Darner, 49, well known resident of this city, passed away Monday afternoon at his home, 710 Spangler Drive. He had been ill for the past several weeks from silicosis.

An employee of the Mosaic Tile Company, he had resided in Zanesville for the past 28 years. He was born at Sonora but moved to this city from Adamsville.

The deceased is survived by his widow, Mrs. Elsie Darner, of the home; a son, Lawrence Darner of Salem; two sisters, Mrs. Alma Hughes of Roseville, and Mrs. Freda Stewart of Akron; and two brothers, Alva Darner of Shelby Street, and Wilmer Darner of Mansfield.

The body will be removed to the home Tuesday afternoon from the William Thompson & Son funeral home, White Cottage. Funeral arrangements were incomplete last night.
