  General Notes:

Some researchers believe that his full given name was just Aaron and was called Aaron Jr because his father also used the name Aaron. It is documented that his father's full given name was actually William Aaron Gastineau so therefore it is thought that in order to be called a "junior", his full given name must also be the same.
