Alice Jane Crees' age seems to vary throughout the years. In her early years, the birth year of 1886 was predominant but by the time she reached her adulthood, she suddenly became "younger" with her birth years varying from 1888 to 1891. The Linn Family records (her mother was Lucette Jane Linn) and the earlier census records indicate the actual birth year as 1886 when her age was given by her parents. After she was married in 1913 and beginning with the 1920 US Census and when she answered directly to the census enumerator, her age became younger and her birth started to change from 1888 to eventually 1891.
