Mary Remsberg..Granddaughter..13..MD

NOTE - Most researchers show a Mary A. Remsberg as the daughter of Amos Remsburg. But there is some disagreement over who the mother was as Amos may have been married twice. Perhaps that is the reason young Mary was sent to live with her grandparents when Amos was remarried for the second time.

NOTE - It is unknown with any certainty who the granddaughter, May E. Palmer, was. Could this have been the granddaughter, Mary Remsberg, who was the daughter of Amos Remsberg. The ages match up perfectly and if so, if appears that she was married to a Palmer but not living with him for the 1920 census. The handwriting on the census form is indistinct and could be interpreted as Mary instead of May.
