Harriet M. Malott 1
![]()
Harriet was an illegitimate birth to Clarissa Fast who apparently was living with Rezin Malott at the time. Rezin was soon to be married to Clarissa's sister, Mary Ellen Fast. Originally Harriet's name appeared as Harriet Fast on the census records. Similar to what her sister, Mary, and her brother, Duncan, did later in life, she adopted the use of what is believed to be her biological father's surname and called herself Harriet Malott. ![]()
