3 Funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon at the Sonora Methodist church for Chancey Spragg, 70. Rev. George Willyard will officiate and burial will be in St. Paul's cemetery at Sonora.

The body has been removed to the home of his son, William Spragg of Sonora, from the Dean funeral home.

Mr. Spragg died Tuesday evening at the son's home following a three years' illness. He was a lifelong resident of Sonora and was the son of William and Sophia Bowers Spragg. He had been employed at the Mosaic Tile company until his retirement in 1947.

Surviving are his widow, Bertha; the son, William; a sister, Mrs. Sadie Knapp of East Fultonham; three grandchildren, Eldred, Kenneth and Richard, all of Sonora, and three great-grandchildren, Nancy, David and Allen Spragg, all of Sonora.
