bullet  Marriage Notes:

The Lyman home, corner of Mill and Main streets, Brooklyn, was the scene of an early autumn wedding Wednesday afternoon, Sept. 26. At three o'clock, Bernice Ruth Lyman became the bride of Truman Reida. The couple spoke their own vows before a bank of brilliant garden flowers of various hues. Rev. E. W. F. Holler of the Presbyterian church, officiated at the double ring ceremony in the presence of about 40 near friends immediate relatives of the bride and groom.

The bride was attired in bright navy blue chiffon velvet, with silver trim, and carried an arm bouquet of Tallsman roses. The groom wore conventional black with a rose boutonniere. Following the nuptials, light refreshments were served by six young ladies: Lydia Reida, Ardath Rohrer, Thursia Hayward, Jane, Maxine and Violet Bope. Immediately after the wedding, the couple departed for Madison, Wisconsin, for a several days visit with relatives there, and in Milwaukee, after which they will go to Chicago to view A Century of Progress. They will be at home in the Henry property on William street after Oct. 6th.

The bride is the youngest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Lyman. She attended Guernsey consolidated high school two years, and is a graduate of Brooklyn High in the class of 1931. She is a young lady of exceptional ability, pleasing personality and highest character.

The groom is the son of Wesley Reida, a Brooklyn High graduate in the class of '29 and a highly respected young man of true worth. He is a butter maker for the Brooklyn Co-operative creamery.

Congratulations and best wishes are extended to this young couple.
