Robert Roland Wagner, 80, of Muscatine, passed away on Saturday, August 24, 2013 at All American Care of Muscatine.

Graveside Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, at the Cedar Bethel Cemetery with full military rites.

There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, a memorial fund has been established at the funeral home in memory of Robert. The Geo. M. Wittich-Lewis Home for Funeral and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.

Robert was born on February 20, 1933, in Columbus Junction, the son of Leo Rollo and Viola Mae Stratton Wagner.

Robert served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict.

Robert was united in marriage to Twyla Wells and later divorced, then married Brenda Kelley.

Robert worked at Occidental Chemical Company in Buffalo as a maintenance foreman.

He enjoyed fishing, bowling, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinal, Dallas Cowboy and Iowa Hawkeye fan.

Robert will be deeply missed by his children, Monty Wagner of Davenport, Marty Wagner of Muscatine, and Mitchel Wagner of Davenport; four grandchildren, Roland, Joshua, Tonya and Alyssa; three great-grandchildren, Noah, Roland, Jr., and Dakota; and siblings, Dave Wagner of Muscatine, Randy Wagner and wife, Lisa, of Muscatine, Juanita Lobdell of Davenport, Mona Alloway of Wapello, Donna Alloway of Muscatine, Margaret Mesecher of Muscatine, Patti Adcock and husband, Dwaine, of Muscatine, and Kerry Ziehl of Muscatine.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Brenda; four sisters, Harriett Bass, Sharon Stevens, Peggy Burmeister, and Marilyn Brockert; and one brother, Jack Wagner.
