Family Links Spouses/Children: 1. Catherine Margaret Daugherty Catherine Ermentrout Benjamin Ermentrout Born: Abt 1829 Marriage (1): Catherine Margaret Daugherty about 1854 Died: Unknown Benjamin married Catherine Margaret Daugherty, daughter of James Daugherty and Mary Ann Cramer, about 1854. (Catherine Margaret Daugherty was born on 31 December 1832 in Greene, Ohio, United States,1 2 3 died on 26 October 1916 in Evanston, Cook, Illinois, United States 2 3 and was buried on 28 October 1916 in Ladoga, Montgomery, Indiana, United States 2 3.)   Marriage Notes: This marriage to Benjamin Ermentrout seems dubious as there are no records of such a marriage nor are there any records for a Benjamin Ermentrout. Yet, there are some records to support a daughter named Catherine born about 1855. It is known that Catherine did not marry William John Ermentrout until 1858 so the daughter Catherine was either from a first husband of Catherine's named Benjamin or was a daughter from William John Ermentrout born illegitimately before their marriage. -------------------------------------------
