The same preacher, Rev. Sydenstricker of Mingo, married Rosa Marple and Forest Hannah in Aug.; Vallie Marple and Porter Snyder in Sept.; and Alto Marple and Patrick Clickard in Oct. of 1908. He married Pearl Fretwell and James Snyder earlier on June 17, 1908. Theophilus Lawson, Elizabeth Lawson Marple Snyder's brother, got five yards of bleached muslin and had a sheet made for Pearl's wedding. The muslin cost ten cents a yard. He gave each of the three Marple girls, Rosa, Vallie, and Ato a similar sheet.
