The birth date is purely a guess because it fits neatly in with the known birth dates of the other children. We know that there was a fifth child born because the 1900 census shows that Pearl indicated a total of 5 children born but only 4 still alive. I have not been able to find any birth record which would provide a definite date and it can be confusing because two other daughters were initially not given a name according to the Medina County birth registration book. The names of those two daughters, Eleanor and Francis, can finally be matched up with the birth dates according to the information provided on the 1900 census.
