  Marriage Notes:

At least one researcher has attempted to place "Galen Bowman" as a child of this marriage. A birth year of 1893 is supplied but that is obviously incorrect because the supposed mother, Lydia Hester, was born in 1822 and she would have been over 70 years old at the time of his birth. Additional information seems to point out that this "Galen Bowman" was actually "Joshua Galen Bowman", whose parents were Phillip M. Bowman and Jennie D. Miller.
