Elizabeth McConahey ¹

Elizabeth married Emmanuel Wine, son of George Wine and Mary Ann Darner, on an unknown date. (Emmanuel Wine was born on 5 July 1810 ² and died about 1855 ².)

Emanuel, a farmer, and Elizabeth resided in Cambridge Township, Guernsey, Ohio had 6 children. By the 1850 census, Elizabeth was dead, perhaps in childbirth as her baby was only 2 months old. It was then married secondly, but 5 years later Samuel died. Letters of Administration for his e state were opened on 28 Dec 1855. They were filed a second time on 29 Jul 1856, due to the death of the first administrator perhaps, and after all, fees and charges were assessed, the balance showed was seventeen cents and eight mills on the dollar. No actual will or accounting could be found.
