Walters, Solomon, a farmer of this township, died Tuesday evening, aged 68 years. He was born 29 Jun 29, 1828 and died 6 Aug 1895, aged 67 years, 1 month and 7 days. Funeral was at Mount Pleasant 8 Aug 1895. He was born in Richland County, Ohio. In his 26th year on 16 Feb 1854 he married Julian Steel. In the fall of the same year they moved to Noble County and settled on a farm he purchased previous to their marriage, in its wild state. Five sons and four daughters were born, all of which survives except one son who died in infancy.
