Wilbert and Dorothy met in Washington DC. He was in the Air Force and she was working at the Pentagon. Dorothy shared and apartment with Wilbert's cousin Leah. Wilbert was transferred to Panama and did not return to this area as far as we know. He retired from the Air Force in 1952, at which time he was married to Hazel Potter. They had two sons, Stephen Leon born 6-3-51 and Finley Benson (Ben) born 12-20-52. Steve married Salley Wood and have 2 daughters and Ben married Ann Hart, they have one son, Will born 11-5-93. Stephen lives in Columbia, South Carolina and Finley in Naperville, Illinois. Wilbert and Hazel were married Oct 6, 1950. Wilbert also was retired from Sears and Roebuck. Wilbert has a brother Willard that lives in Oakland, Maryland.
