Was this the son of Richard Poling and Elizabeth Fast? Most researchers show that Jacob as marrying Catherine Fast and not Sarah Fast. Unfortunately, none of the other researchers provide any parentage for that Catherine Fast. Or perhaps, Catherine and Sarah are the same person. More research is needed. There was more than one Jacob Poling living in Fairfield and Hocking Counties at the time. (Brian L. Lightfoot)
