bullet  Marriage Notes:

After George died in 1873, the children were split up and sent to relatives and friends. Several were sent to Crawford County: Idora was living with her uncle, John Walters and family; Luella was living with and working for Mary C. Oldfield and family; Ada, who went by her middle name of Laura, was living with Phillip Eichorn and wife. The exact relationships to any of these other families is not known.

I can find no definitive record in the 1880 US Census for sons, Frank, John, Elmore, and daughter, Cora.

Meanwhile, Mary and her youngest daughter, Lulu, remained in Richland County and were living at the house of Albert Hoover. The exact relationship between Mary and Albert is not known.
