NOTE - Both of Myron's wives were named Mary. He married his first wife probably in 1876 because their first child was born in 1877. He married his second wife on May 8, 1880 in Lamar, Barton County, Missouri. The Mary listed on the 1880 census record indicates that she was born in Illinois so it seems most likely that this was his first wife. Otherwise, if it were his second wife, then she would have been single when she traveled to Missouri to marry Myron, something unlikely for a 17 year old. Yet, if this is his first wife, why was their child living with Myron's parents?
