Sometime between 1860 and 1870 the family moved to Indiana. The wife Mildred either died in 1865 or 1868 and was buried in Fulton County, Indiana. The 1870 census show Job in Fulton county, Indiana with 5 daughters. The 1880 census shows Job Robinson as widowed living in Pulaski county, Indiana with 3 daughters and 1 son.
Some researchers get confused by the presence of another Job Robinson in Indiana that appears in the 1880 census married to Sarah Thompson with at least 2 children named William and John but none are related to the Job Robinson that was married to Mildred Hathaway.
