FAST, Mrs. Jacob, died 22 August, of Troy Township, d/o Henry and Catharine Baughman who came to Ashland County from Pennsylvania settling on farm 2 miles N and 1/2 mile E of Ashland in Orange Township, she was born 6 March 1824, one of 6, at 21 years married Jacob Fast of Troy Township, had 11 children of which 9 survive: Jacob, Ephriam, Jessie, George, Sophronia, Martha, Mary, Alvina and Belle, 91 year old father also survives, buried in family lot in Nova Cemetery. Died last Saturday at home of daughter Mrs. Fred Thudium in Clearcreek Twp.
