Richard Bourgerie, 84, Pine River, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2001, at St. Joseph's Medical Center in Brainerd.

He was born Feb. 2, 1917, in Minneapolis to Janor and Nellie (Patterson) Bourgerie. He worked many years for Milwaukee Railroad. He married Alice 65 years ago.

Survivors include his wife; four sons, Richard, Honduras, David, Brooklyn Park, Philip, Wadena, and Daniel, Duluth; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Ten brothers and sisters died earlier.

Services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River with Pastor Daniel Bourgerie officiating. Burial will be in Bethlehem Cemetery in rural Backus.

Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at Kline Funeral Home in Pine River.
