John died only 15 days following the death of his wife. The informant for his death certificate was Arthur Gushard who was the grandnephew of John's wife. Arthur had been living with them for the past 25 years or so.

NOTE - Sarah (Saide) indicated that she had zero children yet records show one daughter, Yetta or Letta, and one son, William. However, the zeros written on the census record appear to have been written after the enumerator made his entries, are written lighter than all the other entries, and the two zeros are written as is they are connected or writted together. In addition, the enumerator left out the birth month and year for John as well as the birth locations for his parents. I suspect that the two zeros were a tally added by a supervisor because the enumerator left out this information as well and the supervisor just entered zeros to have something in that column.

Also note the name of Arthur Gushard listed as nephew. He apparently was the son of George Henry Gushard who was the son of Sarah's sister, Mary E. Lightfoot. Technically, Arthur was the grandnephew of Sarah and not the nephew.
