James married Mary Elizabeth Lightfoot, daughter of Solomon S. Lightfoot and Sarah Irvin, on 8 November 1860.1 2 (Mary Elizabeth Lightfoot was born on 10 September 1834 in Pennsylvania,1 2 6 7 died on 24 February 1910 in Mansfield, OH 2 7 8 and was buried on 26 February 1910 in Mansfield Cemetery, Mansfield, OH 2 7 8.). The cause of her death was Myocarditis.3
