• Her obituary was published in the Salem News on 29 March 1926 in Salem, OH.

Pneumonia is given as the cause of the death of Mrs. Cardile C. Rinehard (sic) 76, widow of Phillip M. Rinehart, which occurred at noon Monday at the home of her son, Service Director F. A. Rinehart, Roosevelt Ave. She had been ill over three years. Mrs. Rinehart was born and reared five miles south of Salem on the Teegarden Road and had always lived in Salem and vicinity. She was a member of the Bible Christian church and was one of the charter members of Salem Grange, although not affiliated with it at the time of her death. Besides her son she is survived by one grandson, Omar Rinehart, and one great grandson, Robert Rinehart. Funeral arrangements will be announced Tuesday.
