General Notes:
Daisy Arletta Sackman was enumerated on the 1880 census under the wrong surname. Living with the Sackman family at that time was the widowed daughter, Margaret C. Sackman, who had married John Wesley Copus who died in 1877. Margaret was enumerated with her one daughter Della M. Copus. However right under the name of Della was the name Daisy A. Copus instead of Daisy A. Sackman. This Daisy Copus was listed as 2 years old, born in Ohio, and both parents born in Ohio which all match the data for Daisy A. Sackman. I believe the only mistake was by the enumerator in entering the surname Copus instead of Sackman. Otherwise, could it be possible for both Margaret and George Franklin, brother and sister to both have daughters born about 1878 and both be named Daisy? In addition, the name of Daisy A. Sackman is not found elsewhere in the 1880 census.
All of this is proven by the death certificate for Alice Louise Jolley, who was a daughter of Daisy when she married Albert Clint Jolley. On Alice's death certificate it indicates that her mother's name was Daisy A. Sackman (and not Daisy A. Copus).
