⁵ ⁷ Vaughn D. Sackman, 79, of 599 Stocking Ave., died Friday at General Hospital following an extended illness.

Mr. Sackman was born March 17, 1886 at Lucas, living in this vicinity all his life. He was a retired employee of the Mansfield Tire and Rubber Co. and a member of the 25 year club at the Mansfield Tire.

Surviving are four brothers, John, of Phoenix, Ariz.,; Boyd of Cuyahoga Falls, Charles of Bellville, and Ross Sackman, of 599 Stocking Ave. with whom he made his home, and four sisters, Mrs. Daisy Jolly, Mrs. Georgia Zellner, and Mrs. Rhea Underwood of Mansfield, and Mrs. Mary Tidrick of Akron.

The body was removed to the Wappner Funeral Home where services will be held Monday afternoon at 1 o'clock, in charge of the Rev. Robert Haskins, pastor of the Mayflower Congregational Church. Burial will be in the Mansfield Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home starting Saturday evening.
