Delbert Ray "Del" Blair, 52, died Dec. 26, 2004, of natural causes while driving a truck-and- trailer rig on Highway 97 in the Mount Hebron area. Specific cause of death was not given.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Ward's Klamath Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Hadwick officiating. Cremation will be by Pyramid Cremations.
Mr. Blair was born April 16, 1952, in Dorris to Robert Gene "Bob" and Donna Maxine (Perkins) Blair.
He was a truck driver and spent his entire life in the Klamath Basin.
He enjoyed NASCAR racing, playing pinochle with family members, 4-wheeling, camping, bowling, cooking, playing the drums and telling jokes.
Survivors include his children Andrea Jean Blair, Traci Lynn Melendres and Dustin Ray Blair of Klamath Falls and Bryan Del Brown of Nampa, Idaho; mother Donna Maxine Blair of Klamath Falls; brothers and sisters David Blair and his wife Laura, Donald Blair, Marla Cullen and Michelle Blair of Klamath Falls, Doran "Stoney" Blair of Chiloquin, and Margie Miller and her husband Jerry of Tulsa, Okla.; stepson Daniel Brooks Dixon of Eugene; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father.
