The following census record shows her and her two children (listed with the surname of Markle) living in Randolph County, West Virginia. Also shown is "Richard Fredwell" who later would become the husband of her daughter, Cinthia Arminta Marple.

I am not sure of when Elizabeth and Harman Snyder were married so I don't know for certain which of the Snyder children could be hers. Based on the birth locations for the parents, it appears that only the youngest child, George W. Snyder, was hers. Therefore, Roella was not hers and since Roella was 2 years old, that means the marriage between Elizabeth and Harman Snyder was probably in 1878 or 1879. [Brian L. Lightfoot]
