bullet  Marriage Notes:

One child was born on 13 Dec 1861 in Upshur County but was not given a name at that time. The 1870 US Census does not show any child about 9 years old so it must be assumed that the child died young.

The names of two children submitted by researcher Marian L. Post and shown only as C. B. Post and L. L. Post do not appear on any birth, death, marriage, or census record for the family. I'm thinking that C. B. Post is the same person as Cicero Sylvester Post and the L. L. Post is the same person as Lillie Effie Post. But the 1900 US Census shows that Mary had given birth to a total of 10 children of which only 7 were still alive. These are the 7 for which I have full given names so perhaps C. B. and L. L. were indeed other children that died young as well as one more with an unknown name.
