Her obituary was published in the Mahoning Dispatch on 25 June 1943 in Mahoning County, OH.
7 Mrs. Leander Moherman, 69, of Tippecanoe Road, died last Thursday afternoon in her home after a nine-month illness of a heart condition. A resident of this district all her life, Mrs. Moherman was born in Youngstown, October 15, 1873, a daughter of the late Henry and Melissa Martin, and was married to Mr. Moherman in October, 1895. Her husband died several years ago. Mrs. Moherman leaves three daughters, Mrs. William Connell and Mrs. Walter Butcher of Youngstown and Miss Marian Moherman at home; two sons, Henry of Kinsman and Bert at home, and six grandchildren. Funeral services were held Saturday afternoon at the Williams Funeral Home.
