NOTE - On this 1904 marriage license application, Mary Bowman indicated that her age was going to be 29 on 4 Nov 1904 thus equating to a birth year of 1875. In reality her true year of birth was 1869 which means she was about 4 years older than her husband to be, Perry, rather than 2 years younger as the application would so lead one to believe. I think she lied on this application just because she had not told him that she was actually older than he. In later years, the census records show an age that would equate to the true 1869 birth year so she must have eventually told him the truth, but not until after they were married.
