  Burial Notes:

Wallace's final burial location has a minor conflict. The actual death certificate indicates that he was buried at the Tod Homestead Cemetery in Youngstown. The death certificate includes the name of the funeral firm, the embalmer, and the person who did the actual burial. There is a Find A Grave memorial page that further adds the location in the Tod Mausoleum.

However, there is a physical gravestone alongside that of his wife at the Jackson Township Cemetery in North Jackson, Mahoning County, Ohio. It is not known if this gravestone is actually a
cenotaph with no actual burial there or if Wallace's remains were later reinterred alongside his wife when she died about 4 years later.

• His obituary was published in the Mahoning Dispatch on 7 March 1941 in Mahoning County, OH.

⁹ Funeral services were held Saturday [1st] afternoon for Wallace W. Woodward, 79, of Youngstown, who with his wife, the former Blanche Moherman, played an important part in the development of Wickliffe, part of which was the former Moherman farm. Mr. Woodward was born in North Jackson, May 1, 1861, and for many years was a prominent farmer and stock breeder there. He retired and moved to Youngstown about 20 years ago. He died Wednesday night from a heart ailment, and leaves only his wife and several cousins.
