Amanda E. Shafer ¹

  General Notes:

At lease one researcher shows Amanda being born in 1839 but that would have been 9 years before their parents were married. That same researcher shows that Amanda married Simon P. Lighter in 1863 but records shows that the bride's name was Amanda E. Snyder and not Shafer.

That same researcher also shows that in 1873, Amanda was remarried to Daniel Edward Kefauver. The 1900 census does show a Daniel Kefauver and wife name Amanda E. but no other information is provided to prove it would be Amanda E. Shafer. The Amanda listed on the 1900 census would have been born about 1939.

In my opinion, there just is not enough information to reliably confirm that this is the same person.
