Theresa Angeline Nelson ¹

Sometime in June of 1907, Theresa, (nicknamed by her parents "Honey") came down with the measles at the ranch. Later this developed into spinal meningitis which shortly thereafter killed her. She died at Pilot Rock and was buried at the Vinson cemetery located near the head of Butter Creek.

• She was buried after 5 July 1907 in the Vinson Cemetery in Vinson, OR.

Her gravestone is an off-white sandstone tablet approximately 18" wide by 24" tall. The inscription reads "Theresa Angeline Nelson, born March 25, 1904, died July 5, 1907". The stone is showing some weathering but is still quite legible as of September 2002.
