• She was buried after 27 March 1912 in the Vinson Cemetery in Vinson, OR.

The gravestone is a small white colored sandstone about 12" wide and 18" tall. The inscription reads "Cecelia Laura, daughter of M. A. & S. J. Nelson, Feb. 10, 1910, Mar. 27, 1912". There is a cross inscribed above the name of Cecelia and the surname "Nelson" in large block letters across the bottom. It shows only minimal effects from weathering and is quite easily read as of September 2002.
