Mirshon...Head..July 1869..30..IA..Farmer Berdie Mirshon...Wife..Apr 1877..23..IA..1/0 . • Divorced: Bef 1905.   Marriage Notes: There is a birth record for an un-named son born in 1895 to Carlos and "Berdie" but the 1900 census has the wife indicating that she had given birth to one child which was no longer living. Therefore that un-named child born in 1895 was not Clay as he had to be born sometime shortly after the 1900 census. Clay's name later appears on the 1920 census living with his father but was strangely missing from the 1910 census. His age on the 1920 census would indicate a birth year of 1900 which means Berdie was probably pregnant with Clay at the time of the census enumeration in Jun 1900. Carlos and Berdie were divorced before 1905 as Carlos appears on the 1905 Iowa State Census noted as being divorced. Carlos was remarried later that year in 1905 and his next son, Gerald, was born to his 3rd wife in 1910. Berdie may have been remarried on 24 Nov 1904 to De Witt F. Harris in Tama, Tama County, Iowa but with insufficient information on that marriage license, it can not be proven that it was the same person. ------------------------------------------
