2 Frank L. Dye, age 96, of Bosworth, Missouri, passed away Sunday, January 10, 2010 at Livingston Manor Care Center in Chillicothe, Missouri.
Frank was born July 31, 1913 in Lacygne, Kansas, the son of Marritt and Bertha (Lewis) Dye.
On January 9, 1978 he married Margaret Alley in Chillicothe, Missouri. She preceded him in death.
Frank was a mail handler at the Union Station terminal in Kansas City, Missouri and a farmer.
Frank is survived by five children, Clifford Dye, Vernon Dye and Bonnie Campbell, all of Kansas City, Missouri, Bertha Garnett, Excelsior Springs, Missouri, Barbara Table, Fort Meyers, Florida, one brother, Donald Dye, Waco, Texas, eleven grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren.
His parents, one daughter, Cleta Renne, and nine siblings, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Gibson Funeral Home, Carrollton, Missouri, with Reverend Bert Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Van Horn Cemetery, Bogard, Missouri.
