Hi I'm doing the old marriage licenses for Helena, Lewis and Clark County, Montana. I have found a Michael J. Rowan (parents: Luke Rowan and Bridget Lavelle) married Lola Belle Walker (parents: Jacob Walker and Jennie Fast) on March 1, 1916. License #7272. Michael was born at St. Paul, Minn and was 36 years old and divorced. Lola was born at Attica, Ohio and was 30 years old. Both were living in Butte, Silver Bow County, Montana. They were married by the justice of the peace D. C. White and F. Hebert. I hope this is your family. If I can be of any other help.
